Oat Malt¬†gives smoothness and body to darker beers and is particularly good in stouts. ¬†Also great for Hazy IPAs, Belgian Wits and Porters. ¬†It improves mouthfeel and introduces notes of a toasted, biscuity aroma and palate. ¬†Although this is a malted grain, it is low in enzymes. ¬†It is recommended to mix with barley malt to get full extraction.
